Things to know about brown snakes - compared with rattlesnakes:
They're more aggressive
They're more poisonous
They're completely silent - lacking the friendly rattle of the rattlesnake

New tyres are a big improvement.
Also ran into the biggest kangaroo I've seen up close in the wild, they're big and dangerous so I waited for him to go on his way.

Brown snakes will leave you alone, you're fine
What about the super deadly microbial jelly fish that drift around on the winds before reaching water? I heard that if you inhale those, your chest will explode.
Brown snakes tend to get annoyed if you cycle over them.
Its a fair way from the coast, I doubt airborne jellyfish would carry that far. Maybe after a big storm, a thunderhead could suck them up and deposit them pretty well anywhere.
Speaking of which you do have to watch out for brown snakes falling out of the sky. Kookaburras do catch them and take them back to their nest, I have seen one sitting on the TV aerial with a baby brown snake in its beak. All it would take would be for another Kookaburra to crack a joke and it would be dropped on the patio.
