How do you figure that??? Has EA thought of how to fix the redtag bug or any of the other plethora of existing issues with the game?joker3327 wrote:
If EA though using a Macro was cheating surely they would have mentioned it?sgt_mango333 wrote:
So would you say the guy with a macro to spam the fire button (to avaoid RSI?) has an unfair advantage over the guys manually firing all not long?MuseSeeker wrote:
Im NOT taking sides but can anyone just clarify this, macro are made or used with a program but the ROE says
"...or cheats for the purposes of giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players.
This would include but not limited to:
* § MS/X and other 3rd party software. <<<<
* § Modification of weapons code, aka Tank turrets exploit.
* § CVAR hacks which would make players appear Neon
* § CVAR hacks that let players see thru walls or buildings
* § Mini-Map hack so all players are visible
* § Modification of Player Names which would alter their size or colors.
* § Items not included in this list would be up to EA & DICE to interpret."
Explain to me if you would please, how it can be considered normal game play to unload the DAO in under a second with the push of a single button utilizing the tools in game? It's one thing to rebind a key or use a smoother mouse or faster responding keyboard. It's completely another thing to use an external program to tie those bindings together to perform multiple functions in rapid succession.
Look guys, I'm not denying that the DAO can be rapid fired in near auto fashion. I'm not denying the skill it takes to fire the TV missle from a helo while flying solo. But using external programs to facilitate is just plain wrong, just like blowing yourself into/onto buildings, just like using Neon colors to mark enemies, just like using external programs to subvert normal code to show all enemies on the mini HUD...I think I've made my point.
