britain's class system is alive and well, too, and it's probably true to say that 'every brit has to have someone to look down on'. hence 'well-to-do' working class looking down on 'benefit scroungers', and so on. it's not a formalized caste system, but to deny the massive role that social class has in every aspect of british life is asinine.
india is a developing country afflicted with huge social problems and facing massive developmental challenges. but making out that their caste system is a unique and aberrant evil is pretty funny. aren't you in support of colonialism, apartheid regimes in SA/rhodesia, etc? but i guess only brown people are susceptible to class and hierarchies.

we don't have formalized caste systems, but class is a perennial and pernicious evil in british society. people born on the bottom are likely to stay on the bottom -- a long way from the congenital 'winners' who take it all.
as i said above, india is a developing country and has a long, long way to go. but making out that they're 'racist' towards themselves and have 'second-class citizens', when you're from a country that literally demonizes its underclass on a daily basis, is just funny. being susceptible to hierarchies, discrimination and snobbery is not an exclusively indian thing; it's not related to brown skin.

Yeah, people should be encouraged to assimilate into their host country. But that it is not teacher's job to promote assimilation. It is not a cop's job to promote assimilation. Both groups should be given training to not make situations worse by being pig people.
