Haven't seen a display like this.
That's cool and is a nice example of people making the best of the situation. It is also one of the most Americans things I have ever seen. Replacing salad with poison.
It's like dilbert's idiocracy coming to fruition.
please don’t call alcohol poison. dilbert will make us look at car crashes or cartel gore or something because ‘cars claim lives too’.
"Outlaw fingers and hands."
Had a newbie moment.
Houseplants, which I have many, attract bugs. Mostly few tiny ones but it is still good to be proactive regarding bug bait. I went to the basement in order to go through the basement back door. In the little walkway to outside there are great spots for many baits.
Today I noticed that there is cobwebs inside the basement on the door leading outside. I opened the door and looked at the area the cobwebs connected to and there was a huge spider who looked agitated that I woke it up. I am not scared of bugs but I decided to close the door and leave him be. He is doing his part in the war of extermination against the ants.

There's a lot of non-toxic bug traps you can set up around the place. One of my favorites keeps fruit flies under control: a jar with apple cider vinegar, sealed with hole-punched plastic wrap. Add dish soap if you want. I usually just go release them at the edge of the yard.
Glue traps are really effective, but put a reminder to check them daily. Just letting them stick and starve I think is a little cruel.
Was it one of those little angry spiders? I've seen those things fall upon ants like they were engaging in some sort of boss fight. Arachnids in general don't bother me unless they're in a position where a bite could be inadvertently induced. Things like attic spiders generally just want to scamper away when disturbed.
Do you have any zigzags in NJ? Friend of mine got tagged by one of those really bad in Iowa. Like a hornet sting.

We get these around the place, in my workshop.
Haven't yet had the nerve to pick one up, have had the classic huntsman-falls-out-of-the-sun-visor-while-negotiating-a-roundabout gag

Virtual clickwrap as usual. Like 8 pagedowns on a 30" screen, give me the CliffsNotes.amazon wrote:

We wanted to let you know that we recently updated our Conditions of Use.
One of our updates involves how disputes are resolved between you and Amazon. Previously, our Conditions of Use set out an arbitration process for those disputes. Our updated Conditions of Use provides for dispute resolution by the courts.
Please visit https://www.amazon.com/conditionsofuse to read our updated terms in full.
I don't remember a company ever telling me when they were going to change a TOS. They just announce when they've done it. Whenever I see one of these I'm always reminded of this clip:
Maybe he spent some of his time as a Jedi studying interstellar law.
Remember that law the Europeans passed that put all of those cookie popups alerts on every website's main page? I wouldn't be surpirsed if Amazon is compelled to let you know they changed their ToS because of that law.
Checked, no pop-up. This was in my email.

It was because a law firm filed 70,000 arbitration notices at once and Amazon has to pay x amount of money per filing. Purely a money saving tactic.SuperJail Warden wrote:

This should be the last Olympics we ever have. Cancel the Winter Olympics all together. Summer Olympics is allowed to stay but has to be held in a perm location in Greece.
Winter Olympics are literally the only games worth watching. Slopestyle skiing and figure skating is more fun to watch than people running in a circle or throwing a stick.SuperJail Warden wrote:

The whole thing should never have been commercialised.

I don't know why Reddit was the first place I heard about this from. According to comments on reddit, NBC actually cut out coverage of the skateboarding finals to cover the start of a 4 hour women's bicycle race. You had to download their app to see the rest of the skateboarding comp.
So anyway apparently Burnzz is back.

I'm pretty sure he owes me a chest full of iron blocks.
A quasi "feel old yet?" moment (not a lot of years passed, but enough):
I was made aware that the viral, skateboarding fairy princess kid who Tony Hawk retweeted got a silver. Gold was taken by another 13-year-old, bronze 16.

TMI had a cruiser growing up, sprayed silver with ninja turtle stickers on it. Super nerdy. Skateboarding's a lot more fun when the surface isn't practically rural, though. Wouldn't mind taking it up again, but I prefer skiing, bicycle, or ice/roller skates.

burnzz was banned after atg flamed him, and he retaliated. RIPDilbert_X wrote:

Steve-0 on the other hand is sober . . .
I am happy for your sobriety. Do you have a coin?
