Yes I know there's actually important things to criticize bojo for but that handful of fuzz on his head really is still icing on the cake. This is what a head of dog fluff looks like. Trump is merely a pretender to that throne.
I'm not going to smug about it, but won't pretend that there isn't some irony to a smoking aficionado, health risk denier, addiction mocking firebrand radioman getting lung cancer. I certainly won't mourn his show. He did some measurable damage to American thought I think, and hid behind the excuse of "it's entertainment."
The role of the SCOTUS is political even if they like to pretend to be above politics. RGB too often gave her political opinions outside of court and gave interviews. So did Scalia you might say but I obviously didn't like him either. I even remember what date and where I was when I learned he died. It was Valentine's Day 2016 and I was using the bathroom at home.
I personally don't feel 100% comfortable gloating over the recently dead, but would still like to point out Rush's own habit of gloating over the dead and dying. Sometimes playing music to it iirc. I don't think anybody needs to hear grief-stricken conservatives calling for moments of silence or blabbering on about, with Rush in context, how people should "respect the dead."
