I would guess most people who complain about California know next to nothing about the state. We are just like any other state- go outside the metro areas and you see meth labs, missing teeth, run down towns and drug abuse problems.

It's always interesting for me to see people learning civics lessons for the first time in their life at 40 years old. Whaddayamean there's an electoral college!?

Sure there's plenty of crap still coming out of him and 1600 Pennsylvania, but we've almost reached the point where everyone just kinda shrugs and rolls their eyes to what he's saying. We've turned more of a 'What isn't he doing to help Biden' or 'What dumbass thing has he said now' stage, rather than a 'How is he going to fuck all of our days up today' stage.
I think newbie just needs to take a deep breath and turn off the news for a day or two. People are finally metaphorically turning off their TV's and going outside.

I deal with Trump supporters on a near daily basis, from the non-committal "I didn't vote for him but check out this 100th pro-Trump meme I made/found" to the true believers who are up front about it. I can safely say that he is not yet irrelevant to them.

Can probably relax a little when they stop receiving all these probing calls to arms.
