I have a couple non-excited cloth masks for everyday use, but if I have to go to the doctor for whatever reason (I have twice so far since March), I have a surgeon mask.

I have a reusable wool mask which I wear anywhere I'm supposed to, ie shopping.
And a couple of packs of disposables in the car for emergencies.

I wear the standard disposable surgical masks and I change them everyday sometimes a couple times a day. I don't like the reusable shit, pretty gross having the same piece of cloth on your face all day unless u wash it often

I got another phone call for solar panels. I talked to a man on the phone who offered to help me "transition to clean and renewable energy". He sounded like the guy from Parks and Recreation.SuperJail Warden wrote:

So I asked her if the solar panels can explode like a Samsung phone. She asked what and I asked again about exploding Samsung batteries.
She said there are no batteries that the energy is stored in the panel and the panels can clip onto the roof. I asked if the solar panels can fly off from the wind. She assured me that they drill little holes on the roof to make sure the panels don't fly away.
So I asked what if water gets into the roof holes? And she said they cover roof maintenance for 25 years and will repair any damage to your roof. I said "that's an awesome warranty since the world isn't going to be here in 25 years."
I heard her making a choking noise and I guess she didn't know what to say because there was silence for a good moment. So I thought she hanged up on me. She then asked "What is the purpose of this call?" I asked "What is the purpose of this call?" She asked "Are you interested in buying solar panels?" and I responded "Sure I will keep listening". She then hanged up on me.
Unfortunately transitioning has been on my mind lately which kind the derailed the conversation about solar panels. The man explained more about the solar panels and after a pause I asked him more about the transition process. I told him how I have been thinking a lot about the transitioning process due to my cousin James recently transitioning to become Jolene.
He said that was interesting and he was happy for my cousin James transitioning to Jolene and said the process for the solar panels starts with an evaluation that we would have to schedule one. I told him "evaluations are how the whole process begins. My cousin went in to a drug rehab center and spoke to a counselor who diagnosed him with transgenderism".
The guy took a deep breath and started to explain very fast how people are born that way. I told him it "It could happen to anyone!" He told me something about people's identity and said he was "happy for your cousin James transitioning to his new identity as Jolene" I thanked him and he continued to explain the process for "installing solar panels, after an evaluation appointment" and I interrupted him and asked him to explain the installation process because "I have been hearing a lot about transitioning, evaluations, appointments, installations...and it all sounds very scary"
He then said to a guy next to him that "he is going on about transgender stuff" and the other guy said "it is not even worth calling this guy back". The new guy then got on the phone sounded like Han Solo's son from Star Wars.
The new guy said he was sorry I had to hear that and hurriedly asked if I was willing to look into getting solar panels. I told him "Yes I would like to get solar panels". He said "Alright, this ain't going to work. Have a nice day" and hanged up on me.

I got another spam phone call from a veteran organization. The recording sounded like a Karen.
The phone call asked if I cared about veterans to press 1 and if I didn't care about veterans to click 2. I pressed 2 of course and the system dropped my call. Damn. I wanted to tell the people about how I cucked a veteran once.

He said good morning and some other stuff but also said "God Bless". And that brought up a whole range of emotions. I said I am an atheist and don't appreciate being told God bless.
He said okay and sorry and kept continued verifying the information on file. He asked my name and I corrected him. "Is your last name Beth"? "No my last name is Lopez" "How do you spell that" "OPL" "Your last name is Lopez and it is spelled OPL'' 'Yes"
We continued on and he asked my credit score and I told him it was over 700 and "I worked hard for that credit score. God had nothing to do with it."
He said okay and kept on verifying fake information. He listed a bunch of power companies and asked which one I used. I said "yes" and he said "which one?" and I picked some random one from the list. After we struggle to verify all of this fake news he said he was going to forward it to another person who will call me back in a few minutes. I asked him if that person was going to say god bless me because I am an atheist and don't appreciate that.
He said that the person won't and is it okay if the person calls back in 10 minutes? I said no. He asked if 24 hours was okay. I said no. He finally says "When is it okay to call back mother fucker?" I burst out laughing.
A machine voice then tells me I was dropped from the call.

I am really digging this snuggy. Most of the day I am hanging around like a Wraith from Lord of the Rings.
i've bought 3 new pairs of pyjamas throughout this year (see the earlier imbroglio about only 'gay men' wearing pyjamas, pace jay), and they've been my best investment all year. get dressed into something warm and comfortable all day and don't worry about a thing.

I get hit with that for doing laundry properly sometimes. Imagining separating the whites from colors, colds from hots, and hang/flat drying what needs to be because you want to keep your clothing looking as good as it can for as long as possible. I guess taking a suit to a dry cleaner or tailor is gay too, or getting your hair cut for anything over five bucks or outside of a men's specific barber.
