My friend Shando316 is only a lance corporal with 551 points and has 2 weapon unlocks.

For every new ranking u get a unlock at BF2 and if u have BF2SF u get a unlock as well.
At the minute I don't have BF2:SF. If I bought it and installed it, would it let me unlock the allowed weapons? Or would i have to go up a rank?
If you already have 1 weapon unlock youll get the SF version when you login to SF, so Yes.

or if you have a friend that has sf. change your password (so he donsnt know your real one) and let him play on a sf map (ranked) for a little while. that way the game thinks you have sf and you get the unlocks but you dont need to spend the money
