Finished my home set up. I can now focus on the three most important things in my life at once: Bf2s, Azns, and protecting trans rights.
Goodness, what kind of stains are on your wall by the light switch.
I don't know. I don't even use my light switch anymore. I just control my with my Amazon Alexa.
Why can't you just be happy for me?
I am, it's a nice setup. But wipe down your wall lol.
what monitors did you go for? anything fancy?
3 LG 4K 27 inch. 32 would have been too big unfortunately.

that'll do the job, nice one. i would honestly replace the keyboard/mouse/headphones though. and get a headphone amplifier. and a new chair.
Whenever I see a chair like that I expect the person sitting in it to beseech their audience to like, subscribe, click the notification bell, buy their merch, follow them on xyz social media, "let's see if we can get to 100,000 likes by the end of the month" etc., etc. (the video style is honestly a blight on game streaming).
Also there are much more comfortable chairs than that style. The whole strappy pillow thing looks so cheap and fiddly.
But who knows, maybe macbeth is the next pewdiepie.

I would consider a desk with greater depth as a next step, not sure if it's the camera angle but it seems as though seating position has you pretty close to all those monitors. Nice anyway.
won't work with the door there, but yeah a deep desk would be ideal. the viewing angle on those 3 monitors is a bit nightmarish when you're hunched right in front of them.
i'm not going to say you'd be better with a single curved monitor for that sort of viewing distance, but ... yeah ...

If I had more space I would have gotten a bigger desk and 32 inch screens. I added some wallpapers from Magic the Gathering: my favorite Angels. I hope you don't think I have some sexualized thing about angels! I also cleaned my light switch for newbie though I should probably repaint the door.
If you look in the upper right hand corner you can see my boxes. Also, here is a Boxxy
To do: add a flat screen T.V. on the slanted wall above the PC. Repaint/replace the door.
Important Question: I used the 3 DisplayPort plugs on the GPUs for the monitors. My GPU had one HDMI plug. Can I run a 4K T.V. through the HDMI port or are HDMI not good for 4K? Sorry if this is a silly question.
Thanks for the help.

HDMI will carry 4k. i think depending on the version/age of the HDMI connection, you'll get audio too.
one thing to bear in mind is the refresh rate might be curtailed with multiple monitors/displays. but i don't think any of those 4k displays have insanely high refresh rates? can't click the link.

Amazon says "Refresh rate 60Hz" Don't know what that means. Help Professor Uzique.uziq wrote:

The only thing I am not sure about the TV is how how Win 10 will manage it. I don't plan to have the TV on very often and don't want Win 10 treating it like another monitor. It's only for Netflix/HBO/etc.
is that the refresh rate for your monitor? man, you just sunk $1500 into 60Hz tech ... yowch.
i would say the single greatest improvement in visual 'performance' i've had on my screens is (a) going to ultra-wide and very close behind (b) going to high refresh rate. it really does make a difference in almost every task. i say this as someone who frankly dismissed the benefits of refresh rates for years, being used to gaming and pew-pewing on 60Hz and not desiring change to the good recipe. i was p much 100% wrong.
a graphics card will power 3x 4K monitors at 60Hz no problem.

I bought a Snuggy
I was looking at all of the different colors and slammed that buy button when I saw the Sith Lord Edition.RTHKI wrote:

you mean black?
What do you listen to while you work out?
I queue up some Nabihah Iqbal and go wild to Zone 1 to 6000

i mess about with free weights when mixing records. put on a good 7-8 min bleep and bloop tune, do some sets, rinse and repeat. practicing a skill and honing my body, baby!
i used to run to podcasts. good thinking time. music tends to fuck up my pacing too much.

It doesn't matter what music I listen to anymore. I can train to anything, from nessun dorma to metallica or even uziq's elevator tunes.
It's more of a challenge to train without music.
