3 months ago you said that you trust your local physician more than a virologist. i quoted the virologist who designed the antibody test at you, who contradicted you.

there is literally nothing you have told me about covid-19 during 200 pages of this thread, because you don't understand even the fundamentals of the immune system.

even if you have antibodies, you are not immune to catching it again! that's a huge supposition.

That's precisely what it means. It means that I have antibodies that recognize the virus and will kill it on site. I may have a reaction when exposed, but would not get sick or be contagious. Thanks though.

the virus mutates, stupid. coronaviruses are susceptible to mutations and multiple strains. we have antibodies every time we defeat a bout of cold. does your body stop you getting a cold for 6 months after? we simply DO NOT KNOW if the presence of antibodies = immunity.

Antibodies do grant immunity, but nobody knows for how long yet. I fully understand viruses mutate, which is what I said months ago when you pinned your hopes on a vaccine and I told you it may not help. You scoffed at the idea of mutation and called me an idiot. I'm fully aware that I may not have permanent immunity. That's why I am retesting. I have spoken to multiple doctors that think immunity will be permanent, but we'll see.

Make sure to eat plenty of sea vegetables and drink miso soup. Avoid sugar.

no, i said vaccines can be made that account for mutations, or in any case updated. the important thing is finding a working mechanism for a vaccine. a fresh mutation doesn't rubbish all research done on a vaccine up to that point. that isn't how it works. we've repurposed the same fundamental vaccine for flu every year for like 70 years, with each new strain and development. you were making out that all hopes of a vaccine/treatment were fruitless 'because mutation'. it is illiterate.

the presence of antibodies mean that you've had the virus and you've fought it off. and you can most definitely carry the virus and still be contagious. the same thing happens with children whose immune systems seem robust to covid. they are still carriers, albeit at a lower rate of transmission.

I heard Lysol and other disinfectants can clean up COVID inside the body. Intense UV light helps too. We need to find a way go get that into bodies.

Fake news bro. Complex carbs stabilize your blood sugar and keep your metabolism burning. Complex carbs being whole grains (brown rice, millet, barely, maize etc.) and sweet tasting vegetables like onions, roots, squash, cabbage, etc. Keto is just Atkins repackaged once again.

Simple sugars in moderation u know. If you eat meat, then the effect is less noticeable- it’s sort of a balance- but if you’re veg then it has a very strong effect, same with alcohol.

Of course, but still you should have the facts.

When I need to drop weight once a year I just track calories. No foods are necessarily 'off limits' per-se, but if I eat a cheeseburger for dinner it's the only meal of the day, pretty much. Seems to do me fine and avoids the macro tracking.

I usually save my indulgence of red meat for when I visit my friend in the boonies, whose step-dad always bags deer for the family.

I read four books before I even started the diet a few years ago because it went against everything I was taught in school. I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to cause myself long term harm or damage my body. What I read, especially here and here convinced me. I dropped 70 lbs in about 7 months and felt awesome. The only real problem with the diet is that it is very incompatible with the rest of what American society eats, so it's difficult to eat out at most restaurants. You also completely lose the convenience of eating on the go with a sandwich in the hand. Nearly everything requires a fork and a knife.

Have you ever read a book on macrobiotics?

Long term damage? What do think all that meat and dairy is doing in your body? You loose weight on keto because you stop eating glucose, so your body starts to eat itself, but you are still clogging your arteries and restricting blood flow to your viceral organs with fat.

Dieting is never sustainable in the long run. Macrobiotics is not about restricting yourself, it’s about learning to balance and maintain harmony. Gently build health and release excess.

Fat isn’t bad. It’s one of the essential macro nutrients, right. It’s all about balance. Yogurt with honey and fruit on the reg is not the best thing honestly. Forms a lot of mucus in the lungs. Excess of soft dairy, especially sweetened, like yogurt and ice cream are directly correlated to breast and lung cancer.

My breakfast is usually porridge with blanched greens and maybe some roasted seeds or nuts, fruit.

Jay can you answer me this: why is Keto ok with fruit but not whole grains or carrots?
