I'm not scaring myself at all. Again, if search worked we could go back 100,000 deaths ago and see you claim most Americans already had it and it was all be exaggerated. 100,000 deaths ago. Where did those extra deaths come from if everyone already had it?Jay wrote:
They've done continuous testing and sampling since. Continue dividing the fake numbers by the fake numbers and scaring yourself. I don't care. Just stop spreading your ignorant opinion.SuperJail Warden wrote:
Again, you are bringing up shit I already know. I remember the supermarket test that I guess you are going to base everything you believe in for now on. That was one antibody test taken at the height of the shut down and NYC outbreak. You can't use that to claim there are millions of sick New Yorkers we all missed.Jay wrote:
You don't have to seek out anything. They found people shopping at supermarkets and asked to test them at random. Yes, this requires people to say yes, but so does any sampling. Does anyone require pollsters to put a gun to peoples head to get a perfect sample? No. They find people that are motivated and then factor in the unmotivated. "Oh, but what about the shutin!?!?" Do you think not one single shutin got sick? Ok. It was 30% +- 4% meaning its somewhere in the range between 26% and 34%. It's still millions of people just in NYC.
Here is the article about it.

The antibody test you said proved that most people already had it in the U.S. was done in April. At least 100,000 deaths ago.
I was really sick in January. For like 2 weeks. I had flu like symptoms. It was misery. At that point corona virus was just something in Wuhan as far as I knew. I was sick in western mass but I had been in Brooklyn for 2 months before that.
Checkout girl at my supermarket had jt in January, confirmed. It was already running loose by the time they started paying attention.Superior Mind wrote:

Probably I had it. Because I haven’t been sick since and I’ve def been in sketchy situations where I could’ve easily been exposed.
Have you ever considered the possibility you might be dead?Superior Mind wrote:

Haven’t considered it. But then the mystery is tremendous.
That's strange. I thought most Americans already had it. What sample size did they use?The worsening coronavirus pandemic hit a series of somber peaks across the United States on Tuesday, renewing fears that more hospitals could be overloaded with Covid-19 patients.
At least 56 intensive care units in Florida hospitals reached capacity on Tuesday, state officials said. Another 35 hospitals show ICU bed availability of 10% or less, according to the Agency for Health Care Administration in that state.
jay has backtracked and revised his views so many times at this point.
remember how long he maintained it was hardly any more deadly than flu? that’s silently disappeared now too. now it’s just statistically unlikely to hurt you. oh ok.
now it’s all fine because hospitals have had time to prepare themselves, except for when docs and frontline staff beg their state denizens to take precautions and warn that they’re out of resources.

but of course, this will be the dems fault too.

I'm guessing it was quite a small test quite a long time ago, I'm not aware large-scale carefully designed sampling has been done and I would guess most of the recent tests are people who were more likely than the general pool to have it.Jay wrote:

Even if its 30 million thats not even 10%, you have some way to go.

last widescale tasting for antibodies in major european capitals, as in madrid after their first big wave (which was a bad one), estimated somewhere between 5-15% had been exposed. this was reflected by similar estimates elsewhere. nowhere has claimed that 40% of people have had covid already.
god knows why jay thinks people out doing their grocery shopping at the peak of a pandemic represent a ‘random sample’.

Well Jay thinks company stocks represent 'the vast majority' of capital in the world when its immediately provably under 30%, and probably less than that.
So clearly 'over 50%' is exactly the same as 'under 10%' when you take into account the margin of error the alt-right give themselves to never have to admit being wrong.
Maybe our resident libertarian constitutionalist conservative welfare bludger should stop lapping up neocon gibberish from the interwebs and do a research.

I think it's wonderful that Jerusalem is now the home of the US Embassy for Israel. What are your thoughts on the subject?Dilbert_X wrote:

I've heard mixed reviews. Some think it was the best experience of their life and others couldn't get past what they felt was continuous propagandizing. But, a free vacation to a beautiful part of the world in your 20s doesn't seem bad.Superior Mind wrote:

Looks like I called it. Surrounding areas will follow NYC's lead. Sorry Jay. Time to hire a babysitter.N.Y.C. Schools, Nation’s Largest District, Will Not Fully Reopen in Fall
Classroom attendance in September will be limited to only one to three days a week in an effort to continue to curb the outbreak, the mayor said.
About four months after 1.1 million New York City children were forced into online learning, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Wednesday that public schools would still not fully reopen in September, saying that classroom attendance would instead be limited to only one to three days a week in an effort to continue to curb the coronavirus outbreak.
jay's poor children. they are going to be traumatized for life. this is the worst thing to ever happen to his family.
someone should call the police or alert the neighbourhood watch, because jay is going to be looking for neighbours to sacrifice to stem this.
I have a pet theory that all this pushback against wearing a mask is simple insecurity. People are insecure about what they will look like with a mask on. It has nothing to do with freedom of choice or standing up to the government, and everything to do with Karen and Greg being afraid of looking funny wearing a mask.
