Those look like gunchucks on the left. A rad alternative to a bayonet, I suppose.
didn't know Ronald McDonald's sister was on the team
I do need to start buying stuff, I've been too busy sorting all the gear I pillaged from work.
Its probably a good time to buy a car but my 16 year old Subaru is still going OK at present.

I spent the last 3 days indoors working and caught myself going a little insane. I know covid is a long term thing but goddamn am I already tired of it.

can't believe mods hacked my title like that
What kind of face mask should I buy? I have a bunch of doctor mask but want a reusable one. Recommend me one.
Can you get one with a vagina printed on it?SuperJail Warden wrote:

I find the N95/KF94 masks are easier to breath through than the surgical masks, although they're not reusable...
I'd probably go with something like this if you want reusable:
https://www.amazon.com/standardrich-Act … B088P56VRC
You should replace the cartridges regularly but they're pretty cheap:
https://www.amazon.com/Filter-Cartridge … B085TQG7SN
Should be good for the summer too because they have Easy Exhaust Breathe technology

there are 'cartridges' inside the vent. it's about as much of a cover as any other form of popularly used facemasks, short of medical/industrial-grade ones.

There's a one way valve in the vent, you can breathe out through the valve but not in. Also the filter is behind it.Jay wrote:

The point of wearing a mask is to keep your own droplets from spreading. If you have a vent, when you sneeze it will all be released.Dauntless wrote:

It's not a huge hole?
There is still a filter between your nose/mouth and outside, there's just more levels of filtration when you're breathing in than out.
Sneezing would be big droplets and be caught by the filter. Also this has a tight fit around the face whereas regular surgical masks have loads of gaps.

in general the masks are not super effective, regardless. keeping your distance and not being indoors is the best bet. as soon as the 'vid takes to the air as an aerosol you're going to struggle very hard not to get in in your respiratory system or tear duct etc.
this is what happens when you’re indoors, even in places with low rates of transmission and precautions:

So you are saying we all need to buy full face visors too?
can I just wear my motorcycle everywhere?
can I just wear my motorcycle everywhere?
that's literally what medical professionals in places with proper protection wear, yes, especially frontline staff in countries that don't want their frontline staff to die.
covid behaves as an aerosol within confined spaces. i've linked here before in the past studies taken inside buses and train carriages. you can get it from like 5-10 metres away inside a tightly enclosed environment, especially if it has air con.
wear a mask in public and stay outdoors, basically.

I am thinking about becoming a priest. Do you guys think that would be a good fit for me?
no.
