you guys need to just start over with the police in the US.

if this is the consequence of going on 20 years of perpetual warfare in the middle-east, you need to re-think that military-industrial economy, too.

something has badly soured in your society where your police, across so many departments and states, are all equipped, trained and act like this. i don't know if you just have a uniquely aggressive and violent culture, or whatever, but this is shocking to see in any democracy.

Also worrisome is that the whole 3%er thing obviously is meant to call back to the concept of a 1%er outlaw motorcycle club. For a cop to be wearing patching with a lineage like that, well...

I find it amazing how you all flip on a dime. The riots and anarchy are good, solid, expressions of rage and anger. Holding beliefs that the federal government is overly expansive is somehow dangerous? Oh my. Anarchy good. Strong national government good. Libertarians bad. Gotcha. Makes total sense.

I still plan to be a cop. I recognize that a lot of cops are pig men though. A lot of the people who are into the militia stuff are pig men too. I am not going to pretend that the police are a perfect institution full of intellectuals.

Education is full of intellectuals. I didn't study at all for the cop test and got a 93 on it. Most of it the cop test was a personality quiz. Very low standards. The testing to become a teacher is harder and more time consuming.

You still have to pass an interview and a background check and find a police department that will hire you. And then, on top of it all, your coworkers actually have to like and trust you. Good luck.

I did all of that to become a border protection officer. I "failed" the polygraph. If it wasn't for that I would have been in.

I don't doubt that I will be able to find an organization interested in me since I am very highly qualified on paper. Now getting my co-workers to like me...I think I will be fine though from what I have heard about police culture they are pig men.

The 3%ers are cowards and LARPing. They treat this stuff like a real life Battlefield 2 clan. No one serious about overthrowing the government would join such a thing.

No one in general is looking to topple the government, aside from anarchists. The Tea Party was formed because of the bailouts and the stimulus. Legitimate concerns about the federal debt. They got painted with the racist brush because it's the easiest way for Democrats to keep their own people in line. Telling woke white people something is racist is the easiest way to control them. They'll bend over backwards to avoid the BAD THING. Pissing off the people in the Tea Party was a nice bonus. Marginalization and isolation was the goal.

So, I would really take whatever it is you are spoonfed about "the enemy" with a huge grain of salt. Chances are you're being manipulated to stay on the reservation. Why do you think the WalkAway stuff generates so much hatred?

The Tea Party was rooted in racism and opposition to the first black president. The Trump administration has ran up more debt in 4 years than the Obama administration in 8 yet the Tea Party as an organization is nowhere to be found. And the Global War on Terror of the Bush years and the Trump's border situation has resulted in an order of magnitude more civil rights violations than anything the Obama administration ever committed.

I'm not on a Democrat reservation (???). My social views don't fit in with the Democrat party at all.

I don't recall hearing of anyone being killed by antifa people. It could be true, but I would expect the Right to trot that out a lot more if it were. Heather Heyer is readily name-checked, so why wouldn't this alleged person?
