Starting to look like LA riots part 2. Doesn't help that a lot of people were laid off in the last few months, probably most of them living in poorer minority communities. That's a lot of angry people with nothing to do.

The scum fuck ex cop finally got arrested today.
i mean at this point custody is probably the safest place for him to be, so. cheaper than having a small battalion on his doorstep.

The U.S. government officially retired Predator drones last year or the year before. We now use the Reaper drone for our drone strikes while we have a super expensive other drone for surveillance. All this police talk reminds me university police nearly ran me over once. They were test driving a charger I think and they floored it offroad onto the path I was on. They were behind me so I couldn't see them, I'm glad I didn't wear headphones cause they didn't even bother honking or turn the siren on.

One time I was hanging out with with some friends when I was in high school near the nearby 7/11. A bunch cop cars came up and told all of the brown guys including me to get up on the wall because we were suspected of a crime. They accused someone who fit my description specifically (!!!) of breaking a window. A white Big Titty Goth Girlfriend of my friend came out and in a panic told the cops the tweaker white guy down the street admitted he did it. The cops let us go without even an apology and went after him.
The funny thing about the whole situation is the cops probably think they did good police work and got the suspect even though they needed to harass a bunch of brown teens to the point someone's girlfriend decided to rat on some other guy.
FWIW, this is a fond memory.
