Go to whatever music service you use and find the top most 5 listened song. Post them here with links. Then discuss.

I don't even know if Spotify has the means to do this. I looked on my phone and am unsure how legit it is because 3 out of the 5 start with A for me.

I have too many ways I listen to music to know which are the most played songs. I'd guess at least 1 of top 5 is Frank Ocean.

I think I played this track 300 times in the first week after the album dropped.

blonde is a perfect album. i had to start dating a girl from NYC to start getting it, though. it passed me by for a very long time.

incidentally frank samples a lot of one of the artists responsible for a lot of my 'top songs'.

i've played this record so much that i bought it twice to replace the worn version.

itunes doesn't seem to keep track, and I mostly don't listen through itunes.

At present, in no real order.

Alan Walker - Faded
David Guetta/Sia - Titanium
Lene Marlin - You Weren't There
Fiona Apple - A Mistake
Girls Aloud - Every Now and Then

All great vocal performances but quite a depressing set when I think about it.

But I mostly listen to albums so its a bit moot.
All time most listened album would be Fleetwood Mac - Rumours

i've given it a few whirls, it makes a lot of feminist noises, but then again that stuff was in her work all along.

I do follow Mac's rules. From the phone:

Boxcar - Jawbreaker

Already Gone - Brett Dennen

Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene - Hozier

Roots Radicals - Rancid (the only one that I'm certain belongs in my Top 5 most played tbh)

All My Best Friends are Metalheads - Less Than Jake

Straight to Hell - clash
This Must be the Place - Talking Heads
Winter Warz - Ironman
My House - Steel Pulse
Harvest Moon - Neil Young

Bonus one, this one always reminds me of Kennings

We were having a good time and Uzique had to come and ruin it by picking on Jay's music taste.

What's so funny about that? Maybe metal music can be deep sometimes.

I literally re-listened to that and questioned my sanity after seeing you describe it as punk. It's in their genre tag on Wikipedia, so I guess.

I'd put them in the cow-punk subgenre. Some of their stuff sounds like Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly.
