Yeah that's definitely it then.
I'm sorry i told you I know your real name.SuperJail Warden wrote:
I am waiting an apology from Ken. He betrayed my trust, abused his authority, and violated my rights. I thought we were having a friendly conversation and suddenly he goes and sticks his hand down my LinkedIn when no one was looking. He gave me a #MeToo moment and I will never be the same.
do you still want some constructive criticism on your linkedin?
Absolutely not. I just want to move on with my life and put this behind me.
I think the barrels in my match pistols are getting a little worn.
Fuck Israel
i've acquired a few really nice spring/summer fashion items over the last few months that, between the plague general 'pon the land and the usual english pox of rain, rain rain, i very much doubt i'm going to be able to wear. ditto some new sunglasses.
i've been hovering on buying a new linen summer suit for a while, maybe even with shorts, but it's looking doubtful.
i know how those poor americans feel. macy's had a sale and everything!

I'm due to get my $1200 dollarydoos on the 30th as well as normal payday. One of my friends had shared something encouraging people to actually spend stimulus money or something for the sake of velocity of money and whatnot. I don't really want anything, though.
Build a gaming computer with 8 GB of VRAM. Become secretly disappointed when you realize there aren't any good games and made anymore.
i've been saying that for about 10 years, which is why i was bemused that jay recently started accusing me of being a no-lifer pc gaming nerd. i haven't played anything in a decade because games suck so bad. if it wasn't for corona-quarantine and a well-timed bonus, i wouldn't have built a PC at all. i already have a MacBook that is way more useful and valuable to me on a day-to-day basis.
PC gaming sucks and has done for a while. maybe it's a generational thing. everyone seems very excited about games and there's certainly plenty of money sloshing around in the 'esports' scene. but CS:GO is worse than cs:source which was worse than CS 1.6. and the same pattern seems to repeat across all game franchises. let's not even talk about the BF franchise. i think DICE just culled support for their recently released BF5 game already. i haven't even thought about playing it yet and it's dead.
btw i recommended 8Gb of VRAM for modern-scale resolutions more than anything else. with that said, play a GTA game or red dead redemption or something. it'll take all 8Gb.

Half Life Alexa looks fun but I know in my heart I will play it for 10 minutes before getting bored and not playing for months at a time.
i started playing online poker again. It took me way too long to purchase bitcoin for the deposit. Within 5 minutes of purchasing bitcoin it went down like 5%.
bitcoin is the FUTURE! I like the idea of just putting money in a bank and seeing the value go up or down minute by minute according to the whims of investors. It's like the current financial system after ingesting the contents of a 40oz can of monster.

I just built my new computer in November 2018, and it's still working fine for me (if anything I'd probably upgrade to watercooling). Granted, I haven't been playing the hottest new games with it, but I would like to buy RDR2 at some point since that's a novel setting to me.
If you ever want to buy a legitimate account on a premium porn site and don't want to give them your credit card information, they allow you to pay in gift cards. Imagine giving a stripper a Barnes and Noble giftcard.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

i've met more than a few former strippers who really did strip to pay for college. One works in biomed and another works for a top 4 consulting firm.
I've met my fair share of really stupid strippers too, but I'm not close-minded enough to think that giving a stripper a barnes and noble gift card is something to guffaw at.

i guess i've been out of the loop for a while but i just found out i dont qualify for the stimulus check, i thought it was for ppl that make less than 999,999 for some retarded reason and not 99k.
trump was really fucking bad at handling this. they should have based it on which area you live in. making 101k a year for example would still put u at near poverty level in a lot of places in socal, especially if you live by yourself or you're a single parent. if u live in iowa or something make it like 75k and under. if you live in southern california or NY make it for ppl that make 175k or less to be more reasonable. i have a mortgage and bills like everyone else and on top of this i am driving back and forth all the time to stay with/care for my sick mother and i got fucked out of that money. i am not struggling hard but 1200 would still help. that's an extra 1200 i dont have that me and family could have used.
edit: ken what site are u using? i've heard about pokerbros and ACR but apparently they're kinda sketchy. and of course u cant play wsop in cali. i miss live poker so much. it's gonna take a long time for it to recover even when casinos and card rooms open back up. imagine 3 person max tables fucking lol. plus some casinos might just replace poker rooms with more slots ($$)

I wasn't punching down on strippers. I could have said buying weed with a Barnes and Noble gift card. It would still be just as weird of a way to interact with that segment of the economy.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

you make more than $100k a year and you’re annoyed over $1k?lil_droo wrote:

Dilbert should do an investigation.
furloughed workers here get paid 80% of their salary the last time i checked, so i can’t quite wrap my head around the asymmetries in the american situation. wasn’t it basically a corporate bailout with little socialisation? hmm.
my mortgage is 4,600 a month for a small average home in the valley, 800 car payment, add in insurance, utilities and bills, food, maintenance, general life shit. i am pretty thrifty and smart with my money. 1k would go a long way to help out. that would cover my car payment and insurance plus some food.uziq wrote:

i remember u said u come from a lot of money or something. not everyone is fortunate like that. to u 1k is probably nothing but for a lot of ppl that makes a big difference

Sounds like you're living WAY above your means. $4600 a month for a mortgage? For an "average" home?
I live in Seattle, which isn't the most expensive place in the country but it's up there. I make less than $100k but not out of site from it and was gifted far less than $1k, $300 in fact. I'm pretty sure it was a sliding scale to some degree

difficulties.
my post wasn’t about comparison anyway. i was confused about your finances. and wryly amused that americans are angry at donald trump, of all people, for missing them from the ‘free cash hand out’ jamboree. america: hates socialism except when it doesn’t.
anyone making big bucks should be banking 10-15% in savings minimum. you shouldn’t be going broke or needing government help after one missed paycheque.
you do realise everyone just using government handouts now as a ‘boost’ are just making the situation irreparably worse later on, right?

yeah but you went from porn sites to strippers. You understand one is an online portal that grants you access to porn, and the other one is a living person, right? You feel weird about entering numbers in to a web form because of what's printed on the front of the card?SuperJail Warden wrote:

imagine paying for porn. what a degenerate.
