I didn't buy them today, but a couple months ago I bought some Bang and Olufsen E8 2.0 wireless in-ears for the commute. Today I was listening to a couple tracks at medium-high volume with lots of low and mid frequencies, and there's a slight crackling in the right earbud. Very slight, but still not good things. Called up B&O in Toronto and they green-lit the repair in 10 seconds flat and emailed me a shipping label.
Fuck it's nice dealing with quality products.
In case anyone is interested in how this turned out, B&O identified the problem within a day of the RMA'ed E8 2.0s arriving at their facility, and decided to send me brand new headphones which arrived today. To my surprise, they didn't replace the ones I paid for, but instead upgraded them to the brand-spanking-new E8 3.0's (or 'third generation' on the box). The price difference between the two on their website is about $75, so I'm pretty surprised they did so. The newer model fixes a lot of the smaller issues with the 2.0's, like improving the ear-fit, the battery life, and the bluetooth technology.
Anyways, if you need headphones I don't care what your search criteria are; buy B&Os
