About a month ago I bought a creative x-Fi and out of fear of a device confilct I disabled my motherboard integrated sound device (AC'97 Audio).  Now I realize that that was unneeded and I want to seperate a few sound streams (Headset on one device and games on the other).  My only problem is I cant find the device again...

I disabled it in the device manager, and it disappeared, how can I re-enable it?

YOu might want to check your bio settings when you boot up.  Sometimes it's disabled in there.

I have a AC97 audio device, just a question, should I be able to run BF2 with sounds on medium with it.

I did before x-Fi, ram is more important for that though.

Rebooted and enabled, thanks!

I was able to run the audio setting on high with the Realtek AC'97 onboard. Medium should not be a problem. I  went with the X-FI Xtreme and its great hearing all the sounds but to be honest, the Realtek AC'97 was  good too.

Resetting the CMOS probably.  I have the same thing, SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.  You won't be able to run the game and the mic seperately just so you know.

I run mine on Medium but it could probably run on high.
