Our schools barely have enough money to feed everyone let alone a quality lunch that doesn't consist of mystery meat and sugar water.
I have heard good things about putting lunch after recess. Kids coming out of exercise will be hungry enough to eat anything so if you put apples and lettuce under them they'll hoover it.
