My cat is too daft to be allowed outside, plus on one side we have a neighbour who throws rocks at cats, on the other a neighbour who poisons peoples pets.

It's sad enough when it's cancer, leukemia, diabetes, or simple heart failure, but when it's you're neighbor it's infuriating. I have my suspicions about the poisoning of one of my early childhood dogs, and of a neighbor siccing his dog on one of my cats late into the night.

If your neighbor kills your cat they probably would kill you if you tried some silly shit.

I don't like pets. I hate having to deal with an animal's problems. Taking out a neighbor's cat can be justified.

Dogs and dog owners can also be pests. That cat was one of those large, over-friendly tuxedos. Neutered, didn't fight, didn't hunt (would literally just sit and watch birds pecking away at the ground centimeters in front of his face), and would invariably show up when called even by visiting strangers. If my suspicions are correct and it was an instigated dog attack (faint audio cues on the night of his disappearance), the guy probably went back inside to rub one off afterward.

It's funny how people can often be more hesitant to ponder killing someone's marauding pet dog than they would even an unobtrusive collared pet cat.
