I was going to tell you guys how my first day in a classroom went before the Heinrich Himmler of the Nazi mods here banned me.
I was put in classrooms with 8th and 7th graders. They were excited to see me and called me Mr. Macbeth. Dealing with them didn't seem too difficult and they were more engaged with the material than I expect a high school student to be. I could enjoy doing this without going KGB on them if they don't listen.
I was put in a nice area for the day though. The Newark students I hope to teach probably won't be so cooperative and deserving of my kindness.
