Can't login into my account for my college. Don't remember the old password and the first security question is "What is your parents birthday?" Why would someone make that a security question? There is like 20 different ways you can write that date.

Might not necessarily be a 3rd world problem but I watched a coworker faint and stop breathing from anaphylactic shock earlier this morning. Scary as shit.
She can't even in be the same room as somebody who has taken the antibiotic Clindamycin or she breaks out in a rash and her windpipe closes up. The vet clinics we get samples from unfortunately don't always say on the requisition form whether or not they gave an animal Clindamycin so any one of the several thousand tubes of animal serum, blood, urine or feces that we get could trigger a fatal reaction just by being opened.

Installed a new modem/router - this happened to coincide with a load of network problems at the Telco, plus a meltdown in their email system.
So:
- Installed new modem/router on three computers, 2 printers and other devices
- Works well, then like shit, then well, then like shit or no connection at all, no amount of pulling the cables out, licking the ends, swapping them over etc seems to do anything.
- Then at 11:30pm I get the 'you have the wrong password for your email account' message
So obviously I assume I've had my ID hacked thanks to weak security on the new modem, at 2am I manage to remote login to my account control thing and change the pw so I know its secure, and back to sleep.
