She is my second. I have some Star Wars LEGO, but I need more. Lots & lots. Gotta go loot some fleamarkets for big piles of random pieces for low prices. Because, who need them instructions when you have your imagination!

Got a whole lot of DUPLO already. Mr 3yo will move on to LEGO soon.

i signed a contract to be the editor of a very famous writer, who stipulated to his agent that he specifically desired me as his editor. he is a count of a very famous european family and has invited me for dinner at his house. that's a good thing i suppose, although i wouldn't mention it to anyone outside of publishing. a neat anecdote.

by the way i can't tell if you're serious about being an above average teacher because you scored highly on entrance exams. you do realise that 95% of teaching is about social skills/enthusiasm/intuition/charisma/leadership, etc., right? not you sat alone in a room telling the difference between 'there' and 'their'.

at least you're honest about it i guess

Picked up some aged red wine from a work colleague for stupid cheap. Drank one over the weekend and it was glorious.

Also, today marks 100 days till I fly out to Europe for two months. Very keen.
