ya, RT is one of the better ones according to the average rating, but it's still a little goofy. I don't put a lot of weight into ratings sites beyond Yelp

Yelp is fucked too. They've been hit with two scandals, one being that the ratings are fake, and one in that yelp calls businesses and gets paid to remove bad reviews. (Though in a lot of ways these are the same thing).

This was also 2-3 years ago, but is it better? God knows.

Better Business bureau is the same way. If you pay them, your rating goes up and complaints are removed. Awhile ago the terrorist organzation Hamas had an A- rating from them.

Yeah Yelp has terrible business practices. But if you see a restaurant with 500+ reviews and they are 4+ stars, you can be pretty certain it's good food. With the movie and video game sites, it's harder to vet fake reviews. You get people rating games on metacritic without even playing them. Or rating 1 star based on 1 hour of playing. Same with movie sites.

The same way you would troubleshoot any other USB device? Check out device manager to see if there's any issues. Try your USB headset on another computer. Scan for potential malware that may be causing problems. Try and remember things you've installed recently, and uninstall them. Perform a system rollback to when it last worked if that's available/practical to you.
