But seriously, Trump rallies attract neo-nazis. Why is it surprising that these two have found confrontational meatheads who've bought into the idea that America somehow isn't great and that Trump can somehow fix it? They've just handed this group perfect ammunition, and probably don't even care.

In my mind, he doesn't have a chance at winning. However, this is America and our greatness in stupidity knows no bounds, which is a horrifying idea. Bush may have been a fool, but he wasn't malicious. Trump, Cruz, Carson ... you've got to go really far down the polls to find a Republican who you may not agree with, but wouldn't be a disaster. At least those who drank the Kool-aid are strangely proud of it, so it makes it easy to identify the proto-fascists.

I like how you think ISIS isn't an issue when you live in an irrelevant island in the middle of nowhere. The Paris Attack's leader trained and fought in Syria. The weapons used were smuggled in from there. Supporting the IS was their motive. And the next generation of Muslim Europeans are fleeing from ISIS in Syria and Iraq. That affects the U.S. too. We have a commitment to the Europeans and plenty of people travel there.
