This new release would allow AM2 Socket Mobos to run new 65nm die process chips on the Athlon 64 series. This would only last for about half-a-year until AMD launches their secret weapon, the K8L Architecture that enables quad-core technology in 2007. So the Intel Conroe finally sees some competition again! Let the Intel and AMD war continue! The 65nm chips will be released in December with the new revision.
