When are we doing bf2s world meetup, now that we're old enough and maybe have enough money to travel. Say your shit to my face, not your computer, bitch, see what happens.

I never tip anyone. I'm already paying for a service innit.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
that's not true. Japan yes, no tip. Anywhere else and it's not necessarily expected, but they are used to people tipping. I was in Vietnam in March of this year at some bar in a touristy-type area and I was chatting up the bar manager there (half isan half chinese) and I asked if Americans were the only ones that tipped. She said no, and that the biggest tip she'd seen came from a Russian - which is weird, because Russians are kind of looked down upon in SEA for being cheap as hell.Cybargs wrote:

Anyway, under what circumstances would you not tip a waitress?
If you didn't like her political beliefs, would you not tip her? Even if she didn't bring them up but you know her views from elsewhere and think they are so terrible that she is making the world a worse place to live?
You'd love Asia, they don't tip at all especially Japan. It's considered an insult to tip because you're essentially saying 'your job is shit and you don't earn enough here's some sympathy money'.
You don't tip a bartender?
only time I tip in Taiwan is cabbies when I have spare change or don't care about change.
I think tipping in SEA is more common due to the amount of American tourists than anything.
I know in Korea it;s a big no-no and other asian countries add a 10% service charge to the bill anyway (which none of it goes to waitstaff anyway...).
when I'm in Asia I give more than the tip

I've never been to Korea so I can't really offer any insight. I've only stopped over in Singapore, so not much insight there either. Although I was seeing a chick from Singapore. She was super cute and had a sexy british/australian english accent and was really smart and ran her own company. I fucked that one up though
SEA has more Brit and Aussie tourists than American.

my gf won't stop talking about this show, she thinks it's amazing. so far i've watched 5 episodes and it's alright. the acting pretty much sucks ass. she says that last two episodes spoke to her (because of her age/generation). i'll report back when i get there.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

Wattahell does "meeting participance" mean in language skills selection? That I can speak in meetings or what? Never heard of that one before and I've filled a ton of applications.

That you're not a typical closed-mouthed Finn who feels uncomfortable speaking to a group of more than two people? They're probably asking for extroverts.Ultrafunkula wrote:
