Do people have emotional ties to their original homeland and can that sometimes blur how their feel about their adopted homeland? No question. Does that translate to non-white immigrants negatively impacting Americana? Not unless you can traverse a large span of rationality without a bridge.

I like immigrants. Most of my ex's were immigrants or their immediate children. The overwhelming majority are good people. But I still wouldn't trust a Chinese-American soldier if he were part of my battalion in the jungles of Yunnan.
Hopefully it never comes to that.
