Madison (WKOW) -- A new national poll shows Governor Scott Walker polling at 0 percent in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

The CNN/ORC poll released Sunday shows there were five candidates who received less than one percent of support from likely Republican voters. Walker was among them, joined by former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and former New York Governor George Pataki. Less than one percent equates to zero percent, statistically.

Beautiful. Hopefully we will see less of Walker.

Maybe that it's just primary season and therefore time to pander to the extremes, but a lot of what is coming from the Republican camp is, frankly, frightening to me. It seems if we go that route we won't get someone who compromises, uses rational rather than emotional thinking, or has much of a plan further than "undo whatever Obama did". You know... things you would hope the President would do...
Don't recall seeing much of the compromise side from Obama either, pick your poisonous extreme.
If Obama is an extreme to you, I can't imagine what would happen if you actually ran into some far left folk.

Shame really, he isn't that bad of a guy. He just lacks charisma and "umph".

I could say the same to you if you consider what the Republicans are saying to be extreme.

Scott Walker announced Monday he is dropping out of the GOP presidential race.

The Wisconsin governor entered the primary in July as a front-runner in Iowa and a darling of both the conservative base and powerful donors after winning battles against public unions in his left-leaning home state. But that promising start was quickly dashed after poor debate performances dried up support from donors.

Sanders is trying to overturn citizens united. What a joke our republican candidates are. Absolutely terrifying. I dont know how some of the middle class is still supporting them.... Just shows the level of intellect a portion of our citizens have. We are the laughing stock of the world, but hey we have the biggest military power and a gdp based on monopoly money. GG

you are barking up the wrong tree, dude. again. i, personally, never called anything that ever happened in real world "democracy", nor have i said that money can't by power anywhere. others here, though...

Between 1776 and now, how many Tsars, crown princes, and premiers were assassinated or executed?

that shit wasn't called "democracy" back then, right? you know, what you insist is a "civilized" way of doing things, uh-huh?

so i'm not counting that, thank you very much.

none of the presidents assassinated occurred due to political overthrows.

The United States of America: ~240 years of leaders
The Russian Federation: ~24 years of leaders.

So...a bit empty a gesture of superiority for Russia, isn't it?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/eu … story.html

I understand Russias's going though a bit of anti-western sentiment, and it isn't just this article. I've seen it a lot online and through contacts. But it doesn't really bother me in the slightest. Americans even had our embarrassing Freedom Fries thing recently, so whatever. I just avoid the topic of politics with eastern gaming friends.
