Some of you may remember the Lazy Sunday project from last year. I've decided to revive the project. Each Sunday we will showcase a new photo posted by individual users of our flickr group. It's an excuse to get out there and shoot if nothing else. The photos should convey your interpretation of what "Lazy Sunday" means. Eventually we may add other days with different themes. If you would like to reserve a spot simply send me a PM and I'll make it happen. If you are going to take a spot please make sure your submissions have a write up. Please make sure to tag your photo's bf2slazysunday so that we are able to separate them from the other photo's.

Some basic tips for your write up.
If there are people in the photograph identify them.
Avoid unobjective comments (say it with the photo).
Be descriptive with the facts, time of day, location, etc.
Remember you are talking to other photographers. Camera settings and equipment used are important to them.

I am also going to keep a running catalog on my site once it is live (with the photographers credit and permission given).

What a great idea. I think I signed up for flickr...but I'll have to check since I never use it. This is great motivation and a wonderful way to spend a Sunday.

The second weekend of April brings spring - the college basketball season's just ended, and the Masters golf tournament is in full swing. i don't plan anything for this Sunday, except a pot of coffee, six hours of sitting on a leather couch, and smack talk with my brother about the way this tournament will end.

I set up this shot with an off camera flash right, f/4 @ 27mm, and the ISO ran to 3200. i forgot to turn the flash on, but the ambient light saved the picture.

also tag the photo with bf2slazysunday plox. lazysunday wasn't specific enough and I'm pulling everyone elses stream on flickr. I guess you can't limit a tag search to a group. Just individuals and everyone.

i took this today, mostly because Friday's snow melted and some of the clouds broke up. i'd really like to see this project go, we have enough good photogs here . . .
