If it integrated steamworks it might actually be worth buying. Modders could do a lot with the game. But it will probably come bundled with Rock Star Social DRM. Can't have a too active mod community. Mods threaten DLC sales. I "played" 5 minutes of Max Payne 3 the other day. It came with a mandatory Rock Star Social single player account activation. I just quit. Can't be bothered to make another account for a single player game.

It can't be any different than GTA IV or Max Payne 3 was I would think. The GTA IV Steam page even mentions SecuROM on it

how are installing mods? I never played gta4 so i have no idea what the game works like on pc

--Athlon II X4 640 at 3.00GHz
--8 GB DDR3 RAM at 1033MHz
--Radeon R9 270 with 2GB RAM
I'm quite interested in the game, but I won't even bother pirating 60GB of data, if it won't run.
Ideally, I'd like to run it at 1920*1080 at 60Hz; I don't care for any special effects.
But I have a hunch that it's finally time to upgrade...

The game scales well i'll give it that much- you can also roll back the direct x version so I'd say you're in for a somewhat of a shot even with that arse tastic cpu

Never got into the multiplayer on console, but I can see myself in a few years time getting this game on a steam sale or something (and after having a better computer of course) and getting into it. If it's still active of course. Looks like a lot of fun, but need a good group of people to mess around with.
