is it cable? i believe cable is a shared connection and therefore more prone to spikes, lower bandwidth, and such when everyone is using it (e.g. peak times).tazz. wrote:

I was having issues with my ISP (Exetel) in Aust. lately too, though we have competiton, so when I whinged with evidence, they have somewhat fixed the issue.
Before the fix:
They seem to have fixed the latency issue, though my line speed can fall below standard during peak. Perhaps they just put a line stability profile on my connection.
