Woolies can be shit because their store managers have a lot more power over what they sell and what special areas they have. So you can get great stores with good service, or poorly stocked ones that feel like a dimly lit cave. Whereas Coles strives to make their stores feel exactly the same everywhere so you get the same experience.

It was in/near kings cross cybargs. I wanted bread for my toast too and the cheapest one they did was the one with raisins and it was like $2.50 compared to a nice, normal loaf of bread for a dollar at coles.
