http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S320 … ml?cat=500

3. Doctors performed a second exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.

4. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

5. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a second time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

6. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a third time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.

7. Doctors then x-rayed Eckert again; no narcotics were found.

8. Doctors prepared Eckert for surgery, sedated him, and then performed a colonoscopy where a scope with a camera was inserted into Eckert's anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines. No narcotics were found.

what colour are the SS/Gestapo uniforms?
it seems to me that the uniforms of the american authorities are fast approaching those of the SS, hence the title.

Are the uniforms of the american police forces getting darker?

most americans find religion behind the wheel of a vehicle.

they look in their rear view mirror, see red and blue lights strobing, and say out loud "Oh God, not again!"

most of them could not tell you the color of the uniform the cop was wearing, but they can tell you the exact amount of the fine . . .

Those police officers and the doctors at the clinic would be the perfect concentration camp staff.
They'd just need a Kapo who snitches on everyone with a full rectum.

fast approaching?  Police corruption has been rampant in the US for a long time.  Are you old enough to remember Rodney King?

IIRC i am older than you, Ken.
Birthday tomorrow too!

Police corruption and brutality is growing exponentially or at least our knowledge of it is growing. The internet has a wonderful way of shining a light into the dark places of officialdom.

Especially important now that most traditional media is owned by 5 or so companies and as such seems to have a common strident tone.

OK if you're older than me, you're old enough to remember Rodney King, right?.  I would say the reporting on corruption and brutality is growing.  But this is a one-off incident that you can't really use as a basis for saying that corruption is growing exponentially.  Statistics for police brutality/corruption are like statistics for rape - you never get a solid understanding of it because it's underreported/not reported/cloudy.

A byproduct of the internet and an always online population is this kind of stuff gets reported, and usually triggers internal investigation if not criminal charges.  We all know the concept of the blue shield (or the "thin blue line") and sure enough, there are rarely prosecutions for police brutality and corruption.  However, that doesn't mean there aren't procedural changes going on in the background to try to limit these incidents from happening.  In fact, one could argue that increased online connectivity results in increased reporting results in more transparency and a reduction of police brutality/corruption.

LA/Orange County is semi-notorious for their failure to prosecute even the most heinous police shootings, beatings, etc.  However, it's getting better - it really is.  LA is in the process of implementing cameras for every patrol officer to wear.  This is a good thing as far as public safety is concerned - and this is something that wasn't economically feasible and technologically advanced enough, and deemed unnecessary 30 years ago.

Happy birthday old man!

if by recent you mean the last 30 years, sure.  Again, is this a byproduct of increased awareness, increased reporting, or actual increased "paramilitary" raids?

However, comparing the police in the US to the SS is a bit hyperbolic, no?

did you click the drop down by year?  It's actually trending down over the last few years.

There is nothing inherently wrong with SWAT teams. In certain situations it makes sense to have a group of well-trained, well-equipped specialists and sharp-shooters take over. Hostage situations or bank robberies may indeed require deployment of these units.

The point really isn’t that SWAT teams have no role to play in law enforcement. The problem is that their mission has expanded to serving warrants for non-violent offenders or deploying tanks to raid people suspected of raising chickens. Meanwhile police firepower has grown exponentially even while SWAT officers receive less and less specialized training.

The problem isn’t that we have SWAT teams to begin with, it’s that they are overused, carelessly deployed, and poorly trained. A well-armed, well-trained SWAT team responding to a shooting rampage or a bank robbery or hostage situation makes sense.

A well-armed, poorly-trained SWAT team breaking down the door of the wrong house, shooting the family dog, and terrorizing the inhabitants for no reason is a tragedy. It’s also the natural evolution of the War on Drugs, which is nothing if not an arms race. Maryland is a good example of how this all has gone so horribly, horribly wrong:

Internal border patrol check points are reminiscent of both Nazi Germany and Communist Russia. Both are well known freedom loving countries.

2 more examples of New Mexico anal probes

http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/201 … -nm-police

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S3212603.shtml

In both cases a drug sniffing dog 'alerted' to drugs and in both cases, after several violations, no drugs were found.

In one case, the drug sniffing dog's certification expired in 2011. In one case the SAME medical center as previous incident was involved.

LOL
Pay up cupcakes.

Will the number of police anal probe victims go even higher?

I've saw a checkpoint video where the handler points to a part on the vehicle and the dog scratches that part and barks. The LEOs then claim the dog alerted them so they had an excuse to search the video.

This is the world we live in. There will always be injustices and people abusing the system. Not really much we can do about it.

That's how dog handlers work. They will point to an area to make sure the dog check's it. The dog will check it and should only alert if it detects something. There is nothing untoward about a dog handler pointing at an area to search.
