I know a crime game has to have crime. My view may be a little dated but I remember the Pre4 days were filled with unnecessary smut for the sake of smut. I am not a prude obviously (please refer to the Asian thread) but I just find the jokes about transsexuals, dildos, gay sex, masturbation, etc. to be off putting. It isn't just not edgy in the brave and original sense but just a distraction from what I think can be genuinely good story telling and development. That is all.

And again I concede that my view may be dated since I never got into 4 deeply.

Tbh I don't really remember much of that in SA either (apart from the gimp suit bit obviously)

I'd say 4 was a lot more grown up and "realistic"... Obviously not actually realistic though, but less of the south park type humour.
