Seasonic X-Series 750W PSU
Oh modular, very nice. Last month I picked up an OCZ 750w modular.
It's shocking at how perfect some of the cable's lengths were.
The CPU ones JUST fit round the back panel and into the CPU connections. I probably couldn't have done it with a couple of extra millimetres of distance.
Sorted my issue now so I have my 1TB hard drive and second 460 connected again

Now that I have my new case, I'm curious how the cables will re-route on my PSU. But it's modular, so should work one way or another.
which case?
Antec 900
Bought a GTX 760 4GB for $320. Reason for it is that a friend was looking for a graphics card, so I can toss him my GTX 560 2.5GB. And I can pull my physx geforce out and likely be better off performance-wise in games that use it. Now all I need is an excuse to go for that 120hz 1ms monitor.
Google Fiber + full (HD) cable package, for $120/month + free install, officially confirmed.
Suck it, Time Warner.

Holy shit, another $50/mo just for TV? I'd rather watch hulu.
newbie you bought a physx card? ouch. what a scam they were. please don't tell me you have a 'killer' NIC, too
No, I was using another geforce card as a physx card. You can do that, you know.
my leap motion just got delivered. lets see if i turn into a minority report tom cruise
what's it like?
got one of the 1000 software bugs they 'still havent worked out yet'.
cool.
cool.
Yeah I was tempted but I felt like I'd be being a beta tester.
got it to work and its pretty cool there's just not a lot of apps out yet. i tried using it with google earth and ended up going between the bottom of the pacific and mars... its nearly impossible to control
the apps that are out are really cool its just not an easy thing to use

I go from: basic cable and not having any DVR, coupled with 15mbps cable, for about $80 a month total...unnamednewbie13 wrote:

...to having full HD cable with two TV boxes, a dedicated 2 TB drive to store up to 500hrs of HD (with the option to record up to 8 simultaneous shows, or some other ridiculous #), and the newest Nexus tablet to do with as I please. And gigabit internet. For $40 more than I currently pay. IMO, it doesn't seem like such a bad deal in that context.
Honestly, their "free" internet - 5mbit guaranteed free from monthly charges for 7 years if you simply pay the one-time install fee of $300, which comes out to about $3.60/month - was a tempting deal...
...but sometimes you just gotta
im so jealous you have that deal. i just arranged the contract for my dads new place with a 40/2 connection (with 150GB cap) and the mid level TV tier and it comes out to $160/mo. google fiber is an insanely good offer
Bought a new TV remote to replace the one Lily chewed on.
