It was 64-bit, not Vista. You had to put the registry keys in the right place (regular HKLM key to WOW6432 key) because EA has the dumb.

Edit: The "Version" listed there should be less than you're patching to obviously.
I can't remember if you can go straight to 1.5, but you can go 1.0 > 1.41 > 1.5

when i lived in london i'd constantly get 'models' adding me to their friends. turned out they were mostly front accounts to promote some trendy bar or club-night.

It's a legit account. She's a model for some fashion label. I've a friend who also models in Europe and NYC so maybe that's why, though there's no mutual friend connection between her and this chick.
