Seems to have taken a turn from comic book fun to gritty Batman-style hopelessness. Possibly because Marvel no longer has to compete agaisnt Nolan's Batman. Also possibly because once you've seen Ironman fly into the mouth of an armoured flying space-hell snakebeast and blow it up from the inside you kind of think there's nothing left the challenge him and the character becomes boring.

I heard the heroes were ok, the bad guys were uninspiring and that Captain America said "fuck it" and didn't show up at all in this film. So much for the Avengers.
I liked the first 2 much better than this shit. It had its moments of being funny, especially from stark, but overall it was bleh and had some pointless things that were just added to it. 6/10.
