yeah, well there's no doubts about that. i mean more so about the widespread finger-pointing at every celebrity figure. lots of people in british entertainment have been accused. on the same day as the stuart hall (guy above) article broke, another one went around about a popular soap opera actor being accused in the 1970's. the police have a huge operation underway that is literally gathering evidence on over a hundred people. a lot of women are coming out of the woodwork to make claims.

That this kind of thing is viewed as being better because it was "more acceptable" back then is part of the issue. A lot of the women would have issues to this day because of it. Just because someone felt it was acceptable to diddle doesn't mean they shouldn't be held accountable for it because it was a while back. The problem is, proving something like that happened that long ago. Then there is the issue of how to deal with people who put in fraudulent claims.
