its like the newtown shooting where the brother of the guy found out about his mother getting killed and his brother going rampage when the newsmedia was quick to say it was him at first

I meant more in terms of Anastasia and the death of her / her family. But agree, it isn't a conspiracy theory when held next to the US trope.Uzique The Lesser wrote:
rasputin isn't a conspiracy theory. a cause celebre. an enfant terrible. he's a folklore hero. i wouldn't say rumours and gossip in high-society are the same as conspiracy theories. conspiracies normally imply a paranoiac attitude and a belief that there are events/agents acting behind the scenes against your will. rasputin was just rumoured to entertain a closer relationship to the tsars than was comfortable. it doesn't really imply the same grand sinister narrative or 'dark plans' that a conspiracy theory does. i'm sure there are lots of figures in european history who have been killed off because they represent some sort of embarrassment or discomfort. e.g. the princes in the tower...
They arrested him too. Just to be safe.eleven bravo wrote:

http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national … mit/64379/Updated 12:02 a.m.: MIT issued an emergency alert at 10:48 on Thursday night reporting shots fired on the university campus. MIT's school newspaper, The Tech, reports, "Shots fired near 32 Vassar St (Stata Center), police officer down. Please stay inside." That report is backed up by CBS News's Bonney Kapp who reports hearing "officer down" on the police scanner just before the MIT alert went out. The Tech followed up a few minutes later, reporting that the injured officer was a member of the MIT campus police and was taken to Mass. General Hospital. According to the Massachusetts State Police, the officer died from his wounds just before midnight.
For now, details are scarce, but the suspect is on the loose and considered armed and extremely dangerous.
Police and the FBI are on the scene and searching for the suspect, while the university's ordered all students and staff to remain indoors.
Who knows what to believe in this type of situation.Uzique The Lesser wrote:
so you think the FBI, who have no doubt had entire teams scanning all CCTV and actual evidence for 100's of hours already... are wrong? and you and a bunch of 4channers that stuck a bunch of yellow arrows pointing at some old disconsolate-looking dude are right? lol okay. you really are delusional.Roc18 wrote:

I don't get what's so funny. If you trust the federal government so much good for you. I'm just stating my opinion. And Uzique as usual is tying obvious suspicious activity back to 4chan being stupid somehow.13/f/taiwan wrote:

probably. the reddit brigade and hacks at the ny post fingered a 17 year old, arab-muslim as one of the bombers. he went to the cops to clear his name.-Whiteroom- wrote:
