you have to like the culture and find the climate agreeable to want to live somewhere. not just an employment boom. those happen all over the world, at different times and places. economic growth and living for job opportunities sounds like something you guys would regularly criticize jay for.

i never denied any of those things. so are all of the nordic-scandinavian states. culture+climate are obviously important in one's personal preference about where to live. however the inalienable fact is that australia ranks somewhere below east timor and syria in political importance.
