and the wizard poncho and xbox game
sickest poncho ever, right
who puts beer on speakers like that?
there was like a handful of us there predrinking/preloading and awaiting the carnage at that point. the entire front of that room was a drink-free zone when the night kicked off. i'm pretty sure that at one point some lame as fuck french foreign student girls were doing that lame shit where you knock the top of someone else's bottle and then laugh at TEH FUNNIES when the drink overpours, and they were doing it a little too close to my shit. i distinctly remember telling them above the noise that i was "going to fucking kill them".
oh and then a really hot black french girl gave me her number and told me she was going to 'book me to dj a private party'. later that night a club promoter offered me a "weekly, funky, upbeat housey kinda vibe" (lol) job at "a clubnight i promote". the poncho wins people over.

also, stacking speakers like that? No vibrations?
looks sick though
the top speakers are just monitors and were turned to face us during the night, so we could actually hear the booth output over the sound of the fucking loud hi-fi system. the only reduction in noise quality you'd get there would be a muddier low-end, but they're monitor speakers not played loud enough or for the purpose of 'low end' enjoyment. we just needed to hear what was playing.
dont worry bro i'm liek a pr0 audio engineer nah, all house parties are compromise. unlike that other one where my friend hired a funktion one sound-system. but that was stupid. and ya, throwing your own parties where you have a proper audio set-up and a proper control of the night's music/entertainment... is a lot of fun. no bouncers and seldom any police around to put a strangle-hold on the debauchery, either.

nah the hi-fi speakers are encased in decent wood and and sub speakers are always near the bottom of the stacks, anyway. haha. was more of a hazard of drunken/high people dancing and knocking them off through the night. went well though. we had a tight door policy. xxxclusive.PrivateVendetta wrote:
