So today in class a bunch of us were playing Quake III Arena on the computers (don't ask me how it got there.) I had never played Quake before and wasn't expecting to do too well. Now bf2 had always felt slow to me, like it always seemed like you had to move the mouse twice as fast as you wanted the character to move, also I'm used to having to take cover at the slightest amount of fire because of the semi-realistic health of bf2.
So now I play Quake with these ideas in mind and I am OWNING. It was like I had been running with a sandbag tied to my back all this time, and now its gone. Now that there was no shot spread and more health I would clear whole rooms and only lose 25% of my health, and I won every single game doubling the score beneath me.
So, my question is, after playing bf2 for a while, when you played another game did being used to bf2 make you more (or less) capable of winning at that game?
