My terrible Samungs weren't even Androids, they were just throwaway pieces of shit for 7th graders, unemployed people and others who couldn't afford smartphones in 2010, I should've just gotten another Razr.
You're probably right about the iPhones holding up deployment of the new features on LTE though, I've read the iPhone significantly affects feature deployments for the U.S. carriers because so many people on each carrier use them and they don't consider it feasible enough to do certain things until that part of the market is caught up with the current technology. It's kind of shitty that it's like that, especially when other carriers in other countries adopted some of the technologies like HD Voice well before the U.S. did regardless of whether the iPhone supported it yet or not, I can only imagine how annoyed well-informed U.S. Android owners are by that and how much more misguidedly special it makes iPhone owners feel.
