Still no adult sized pads. Morans. Also do the right thing and move the left nipple in the same place as the xbox controller already. I wish I could get a xbox controller to work with the PS.

The touchpad and 3.5mm headphone jack are pretty cool additions too. L1/R1 and L2/R2 have been re-shaped as well, now L2/R2 are more like triggers rather than on the Sixaxis/DualShock 3 where they had just become analog for the first time(vs digital on the PS1/PS2) but were still confusingly shaped like they were on previous generations but just went in farther. A trigger is something you actually expect to go all the way in, I hated the way L2/R2 felt on the PS3 controllers.
According to wiki there's also a new mono speaker included, that you can see between the PS button and the touchpad if you look closely, they've also merged the start/select into the Options button on the right of the touchpad:
And the last thing is the 1000 mAh battery it comes with, which is double the size of the DualShock 3's 500 mAh on the later versions

Take my opinion with a grain of salt... but I don't really think it's that ugly. And honestly how much will you be staring at the controller when you're playing games anyway (I guess a lot more now that it's got it's own screen roflcoptersaurusrex)
To me it's 90% feel and usability and 10% looks.
Again, I've never owned any PS's, only played friends' so don't dwell on my dumb thoughts.

I find myself wishing they'd go to the six-buttons on the right layout that the special Genesis controller had.

The select button for BF3 on the PS3 spots, brings up the scoreboard, ans sets objectives. Replacing that button with a share key is going backwards. I am not going to be posting videos and pictures to Facebook. Stupid
Why is a button needed? What's wrong with waiting til the game/level/round is done and choosing "Share" from a start menu, or home overlay?

Been playing some Tomb Raider. Pretty cool game IMO. Lot of cutscenes, it has a movie feel to it thats a bit different.
