dam, not homeschooled but miseducated nonetheless. well, maybe not modern, but my Thalassemia is not a recent thing . . .

Are you an ape or have you spent the last eight million years evolving? Seriously stupid.Superior Mind wrote:
Not really, no. Fruit, insects, leaves, chutes, and tubers are the traditional foods of apes. Meat is eaten on occasion, by those who hunt, but vegetation has always been the primary source of nutrition in apes. Small birds and rodents, and small monkeys are the primary source of non insect animal protein in those cases. In the special case of humanity, the consumption of red meat has always been well balanced with plant based foods. The only exceptions to that are the arctic seal and whale hunters and miseducated moderns.

And it was only 3.5 million years ago that you wouldn't be able to distinguish your ancestors from chimps.

So you believe in evolution, but you don't believe in evolution. Interesting. You don't think 3.5 (it's really 8) million years is sufficiently long for diets to change? Did our diet get locked in stasis back then? Are you aware that European people are much less likely to be lactose intolerant than people from Asia and Africa because milk has been such a large part of our diet for so long (only 10,000 or so years) that we evolved to process it? You don't believe our teeth and gastro system have evolved to process things other than bugs and plants in that time?Superior Mind wrote:

Move out of Brooklyn.

Jerry Buss had a doctorate in physical chemistry, owned the lakers (and kings), was well-read on french existentialists, and was a playboy in LA back in the '70s. The archetype for modern sports owner. Fucking BOSS
We are apes. But I guess you know more about primates than I do.

I don't care what you put in your body Sup Mind, but your opinion on food is retarded and shouldn't be spread to others as advice. That's all.

I guess you're a dietitian too.
Seriously, if you think my opinion on food is retarded you are proving your total ignorance on the matter.

Paleo diets are dumb.
What does that even mean? Paleolithic people inhabited vastly diverse ecosystems with all sorts of different diets.
I know to never ever take the advice of someone that lives in Brooklyn regarding food. There is so much stupid in that borough it's unbelievable. Bunch of morons chasing every fad imaginable and trying to pass it off on others without an ounce of thought.Superior Mind wrote:

jay, you are really good at making uniformed conclusions about people's lives.
Jaekus, that's just dumb. Paleo people who lived in grasslands ate grains.

Uninformed? Basically every post you've ever written on this forum has had the dreamy hipster vibe attached to it. The Paleo diet is a fad just like the Atkins diet was, and the South Beach diet and every other fucking diet. The paleo diet happens to be the worst of the bunch because it assumes that humans have not evolved at all in the past twenty thousand years. If you want to eat fruits and nuts and tree bark be my guest. Don't try to pass it off as wisdom, because it's not.Superior Mind wrote:

I don't follow a fucking paleo diet. When did I ever say that?
I'm not a hipster, you're just a tight ass.
