So I have one of those cards in my rig.  The other day I was trying to get some work done and was going nuts becuase I only had one monitor (I have three at work and you'd be surprised how addicting it is!).  I thought this would be no big deal as the card has two DVI ports and advertises support for dual monitors.

Guess what?  It apepars that it will support one DVI and one CRT, but not two DVIs

Anyone else out there tried this with an x800?

One DVI and One VGA.  DOesnt matter if its a CRT or LCD Monitor....

Was the same way on my X850XT if I remeber correctly.....

Your card should of come with a DVI to VGA Adaptor

oh nothing, I misread your post.  What is your problem?  How is it only working with on CRT and one LCD?  It should recognize both monitors after being plugged in (try rebooting).  You may need to activate the monitor from desktop->properties->settings and tell it to be stretched instead of mirrored.

You have a LCD Monitor that only has a DVI Input?  No VGA?

Never seen one like that.

OK, Silly question...

You went into your display properties and checked the box to Extend windows desktop to your second display right?

Otherwise, did you TRY it with a VGA cable on the second monitor?  Thats what we are asking dude.

Yep!  I extended the desk top in windows AND checked it throught the ATI Radion software.

I have to check & see if the monitor has a VGA port on it.  I don't recall.

OK, this is THE dumbest thing I have ever seen!  I have two DVI monitors and a video card with two DVI ports.  But in order to use both monitors I have to use the VGA cable for the secondary, the VGa -> DVI cinverter and it works.

However - the Acer A2015W monitor is SWEET!!!!

very strange, you can try installing the drivers for the monitors and reinstalling the newest video card drivers.
