Glad I didn't bother buying CS5.5 when I got my new computer. It'll be a fuck of a jump from PS7 to CS6. I really should wait for CS7 for lulz though.

PS7!?

That's the very first PS i used, and I used it for no more than a year!

I've used every CS (whole number) that's come out.

Still works for what little I use it for, but I have a hankering for feature creep.

Soon...

About to splurge a bit for professional functionality. Best part is, I can write off this tool/toy as a business expense since I'm now expected to pretty up the company website, its functionality and add videos/galleries.

I'll probably grab an external drive to go with it.

e: This Friday.................package should arrive.

e2: finally got around to installing it. turns out the files that still install to your os drive no matter which drive you select take up all of my free space, so I have to either clear it out or upgrade to a larger ssd

Still a lot of new stuff for me to learn in this package. As tempting as it is to go back to the familiar old version, this is far more powerful. Totally worth it.

*facepalm*

application space

If you're low on space on your OS drive and want to install a CS6 Suite, shit's going to get installed on your OS drive even if you specify a different drive. And if it runs out of space, you fail. Rather than fuck around like you suggest, I ultimately just made the sacrifice and reinstalled some non-Steam games to my storage drive, freeing up space for the entire suite on my SSD. The only other suggestion I'd take seriously would be to buy a higher capacity SSD, but I'll wait until 512GB+ isn't priced silly.
