Spoiler (highlight to read):
All of them.

It was really a minor gripe, the biggest complaint was that I just never felt a real "wow" moment during it. Nothing really wrong with the movie per se, but also nothing to make it really stand out compared to the other films. I should have watched it earlier, before people had time to hype it up, and maybe I would have had a different impression.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
tbh, flashy-screen computer hacking irritates me too in movies, but I understand why it's done. you're not going to hold much of the audience's attention with two minutes of black background and white text.
I enjoyed the movie quite a lot but

Life of Pi (3D) - 9.5/10

Visuals were stunning. Story was amazing. Loses half a point for dragging just a tiny bit at the beginning. Would highly recommend!

Skyfall - 4ish maybe 5 due to the ending.

I don't think it's his fault per se, because in Casino Royale I thought he did a good job blending charm/wit/badassery...maybe it's just the script/director influencing how he portrays Bond?

These last 2 films have focused far more on the badass part, which makes the overall film feel more like a generic action flick...they lost some of what set Bond films apart in the first place. I'm all for the new rough-around-the-edges Bond, but you still need all the elements of a Bond film to have a Bond film. ("thank you, John Madden of film criticism...")

Spoiler (highlight to read):
Moneypenny and the new M for some reason makes me think it will go back towards a more traditional style for the next film(s)

Skyfall: 6/10

Really strong beginning, I liked the opening sequence a lot too.  The story seemed a lot like the 2nd Batman movie though and there weren't any particularly unexpected plot twists either, it felt like they were being very safe with the story

Not having seen the 2nd to last movie but having seen Casino Royale, I liked this movie a lot better, there was way too much focus on the girl in Casino Royale, not all that much in this movie though, it was more about the action.  Also starting to like Daniel Craig a lot better as Bond

I'm really curious what people rated the older Bond movies? I've seen a good chunk of them and I really cant say I'd rate any over 7, possibly 8.  And the majority are 5s or 6s.  Skyfall I'd give a 7 or 8 so definitely in the upper echelon of Bond movies.  I feel like people are looking back at the older Bond movies with their rose-tinted glasses

I am quite the Bond connoisseur, and by far the best Bond movies are the Sean Connery flicks. Particularly Thunderball, From Russia with Love , and Goldfinger take the cake. He is just the staple of what a slick, suave, great British spy should be. Most of the Roger Moore James Bonds were ok at best, with the exception of Moonranker, which was probably his best work. Pierce made some good ones as well, namely Goldeneye.

I haven't really liked a single one of Daniel Craig's just for the simple fact that he always seemed brash and way too aggressive to be a good Bond. However Skyfall really exceeded my expectations. He really came into the good spy roll in this one, I think. It had the crazy, only James would try this moments, and moments of good action/suave mix Spoiler (highlight to read):
ie. the chinese party scene... It even. actually. kind of played well with what the term "skyfall" means.

I thoroughly enjoyed Skyfall. 8.5/10

I liked the Roger Moore ones the best, I just can't stand Sean Connery for some reason but I know I'm in the vast minority there.  Some of my friends don't even know who Roger Moore is

I think I liked Roger Moore's bond best because he was more of a witty gentleman who happened to know his around women and action.  Sean Connery was pretty much a manly man's James Bond in every way, that's why everybody loved him.  Pierce Brosnan was more of a witty, nothin but the best bitches kind of James Bond.  And Daniel Craig is more of a headstrong action-oriented Bond

No rose tinted glasses. Watch the bonds regularity, Seen all (except skyfall) multiple times and all within the last 2 years. Some seen 10+ maybe even 20+ times and they are still enjoyable.

Never liked them really, Thunderball wasn't bad - kind of semi-realistic, the rest were cartoon bad-guys, silly plots and ridiculous gadgets, but they were always escapist fantasy films so I dunno.

I think Craig is actually a good Bond, he plays the thug who has gained just enough of a veneer of culture to pass quite well, and doesn't play the character as full of himself as some of the others.

I liked Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace lacked story, direction and editing, should be seeing Skyfall tomorrow.

Skyfall - 6.5/10

Not bad, not great.

- Cinema was out of chocolate choctops, the little spoons for the tubs of chocolate icecream - I had to make do with a chocolate drumstick.
Still no coffee or beer.

- Villain needed a more evil masterplan, and to be less gay "I might just fuck up the world from my laptop if I feel like it" - most teenage kids can do this already.

- A lot of the film just came off flat - so much dialog was totally deadpan and there was no reaction, background music/effects missing in places

- I think they've shot themselves in the bottom setting up Bond as being tired, old, injured and past it. He did't even shag Naomi Harris in the final scene

Also how did M nanage to shoot his PPK when it was handprint coded to him? (I know he lost the first one, I'm assuming all his PPKs would have been coded from that point)

Friend of a friend goes onto IMDB and reads the plot of a movie he doesn't want to watch but wants to know how it goes, right up to the last paragraph, then he goes on YouTube and searches for the ending of that movie and watches it. Genius.
