Dunno, but its not abnormal to spend the working day asleep

No AC-130 gunships for you.
Don't care if they're two or four hours away in Djibouti, waiting for the word to go.
Don't care if the ground forces have targets under laser designators.
Don't care if there are "tier one" forces begging to go help, within an hour or two of the area.

This may be a repeat from 1993, or 2012.

Damn RDX. .  Well, as long as you're not making movies about Islam, this wont happen and you've got nothing to worry about.

I can't believe... Well actually, yea I can... that this has not received more attention.  It demonstrates dereliction of duty, incompetence (at best), and gross negligence.  I've said it many times... This guy doesn't care about any one other than himself.  The American people have been tricked into thinking that he is looking out for his best interests.  Dickweed can't even take care of his own brother/uncle/grandma.  It's pathetic.  I guess the hildo was too busy 'dodging sniper fire' to give any consideration to intel about potential attacks or even grant the requests to bolster security there.
If this news report is true, then there needs to be some sort of explanation as to why.

I wouldn't be surprised either to learn that these guys were sacrificed as some sort of concession for gaddafi.

Why should he? His father abandoned him and he never met that side of the family. You are grasping with that one.

While it was not optimal that he was abandoned, he sure hasn't lifted a finger to help his blood.  If that's the way he treats family, what made people think that he actually cared about them and their wellness?

this is stupid. stop making this argument. shut up.

does romney share his vast personal wealth and concern for his extended family - bound by blood and religion? i doubt it.

we are all inherently selfish creatures. family is either sentimental mush or inconvenience. why judge a man on how well he treats EVERY member of his extended family? if your deadbeat cousin came to you and asked for a few thousand bucks, would you necessarily give it him, just because he's family? you are judging obama by an unrealistic - and irrelevant - measure. i could care less if my nations' leader was a family man or not. i want a good politician, not a socialite.

You mean how Romney is doing the same to his family in Mexico?

That's all you guys have on this tragedy?  Going after the red herring?  Fish On, but whatever.  Fine, fuck blood, even the distant mexican cousins and 1800's family heritage.  Right bargs?   Presidents swear an oath to protect, defend and uphold the Constitution.  If I cannot use his family as a yardstick to compare how he protects and defends them and extrapolate that to his US 'extended family', how would you like to judge his devotion to countrymen and country?  His friends?   Ask Rev. Wright about his friendship to with him.  "But he stuck up for his friend when the cop acted stupidly," you say.   More like spouting off drunk on power.   And the beer summit.  HA!
https://thegatewaypundit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/obama-beer-summit.jpg

Notice anything about this picture?  Here's the cop who acted "stupidly".  I agree with you Uzi, that people are selfish creatures.  Oh, Romney contributed more to charity than Basmster & Biden but who cares.  Lesson boys and girls, a true test of character isn't what you do for people that can help you, but it is what you do for people that can offer you nothing in return.  Back to the picture...  Too much to help a dear friend down the stairs.  Telling.  Cue obamaphone youtube... .  You mention wanting a good politician and not a good socialite.  Fair enough that you could care less about "family man", for the most part I don't either (and that wasn't the point).  Several traits make up a 'good politician' and one of them (In my mind) is that a good politician cares for all of the people in his/her district while effectively advancing the majority's agenda without leaving the rest behind.  It sure as shit doesn't include hanging an ambassador's ass to the wackos.  Would you classify the POTUS as a 'good politician'?  And if you'd indulge me, I'm curious though as to what qualities you would attribute to a "good politician".

So Recip, what was the WH motivations not to send in help and literally sit in leather chairs watch these Americans die in real time when he could have ended it?

sending gun ships and soldiers into an unknown, fluid situation, in a country that we aren't trying to wreck, yeah, nothing even more horrible than losing 4 americans could come of that.  This ain't some movie.  shit happens fast and tends to quickly spiral out of control.  fuck, they rehearsed the Abbottobad raid and still crashed a goddamned helicopter.

none of us know exactly what was going on, so speculating that it's some secret muslim capitulation plot is just fucking dumb.

There's not much in the "unknown" category when you've had FMV from UAVs over one spot for a couple of hours. Between gunships and a QRC to secure the compound(s), it wouldn't have been a "Blackhawk Down" scenario. If gunships hadn't been specifically disapproved in Somalia in '93, "BHD" likely wouldn't even have happened.

The Abbottobad helo crash had nothing to do with how much they rehearsed. It was due to a sudden downdraft, IIRC. It still didn't impact the mission--which is what the rehearsals were for (ie, they were highly successful).

That's funny... So what was that whole Arab spring, our Air Force over Lybia in helping the "freedom fighters" not us trying to wreck a country about then?

From your comments it's obvious that you haven't followed this, at all.  A 7 hour long assault isn't an "unknown, fluid situation".  As a matter of fact it was being watched live in the WH sitroom.  Also stories are now breaking that the WH received intel and was aware that there were several terrorist training sites that were established in Benghazi for months.  During this assault our guys requested numerous times for assistance and even had targets lased.   Don't be a retard.  I know it isn't a movie, but tell that to the guy that had the power to end it that sat there and watched Americans dying in real time.  A General was removed from command who moved to intervene.  One of the Seals who died disobeyed direct orders, left the safe house and returned to aid his countrymen.  He fought for several hours and watched while mortar explosion were walked in on his position and ultimately killed him.  A single C130 over that area could have neutralized that assault.

About Abbottobad, you can't predict downdrafts (crashed a helicopter).  I didn't speculate about the secret mooslum capitulation plot, I said it wouldn't surprise me, and it was more of a troll.  However, did you know that CAIR (Basically a HAMAS Founded group) has met with the bamster more than Netanyahu has?
